Our History and Future
Upgrade our society
Our company was founded in 1995 and has been writing articles and producing content for various media both in Japan and overseas.
In 2012, we started our publishing business, publishing in multiple languages for overseas markets and expanding our business globally. At the same time, I provided consulting services for clients who wanted to know how to expand their business overseas, helping them evaluate their businesses and develop new businesses.
In 2016, we changed our company name to Arttrav Inc. and introduced Japan's nature-rich local areas to foreign countries through our English-language travel books and travel services. And in 2019, we obtained a travel license in Japan and began providing BtoB support and BtoC services in the content and travel (tour) fields.
As we all know, businesses around the world have experienced difficult times due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. Under these circumstances, we have leveraged our data science and IT strategy expertise to improve people's lives under the keywords of "health", "environment", "global", "life shift", "work satisfaction" and "social change". We strive to create new value that brings hope and comfort to people.
Our History
Mar 2015: Started multilingual publication for oversea
Mar 2016: Changes our corporate name to “Arttrav Inc.” And started new business under Arttrav Inc.
June 2016: Publishing our travel book "Artfully Walking TOKYO AND BEYOND"
July 2016: Selling our books in theU.S,, the U.K., Australia etc
Nov 2017: Establish the U.S, base in Seattle
Jan 2018: Started expanding into the U.S. with the support of JETRO(Japan External Trade Organization)
Feb 2018: Promotion of our Travel books Series n the U.S.
May 2018: Planed a new Travel Book and Travel Tours in Japan
Feb 2019: Publshing new Travel Book "Japan" and selling it in global markets and participated in TIBE (Taipei International Book Exhibition)
Mar 2019: Exhibiting about travel in the local area of Japan at the Japan booth at the Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show in Vancouver, Canada
Oct 2019: Exhibited at the Frankfurt Book Fair, and based in Germany, Starting to sell in Europe
Nov 2019: Get a travel business License in Japan
Dec 2019: Sales started in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand
Dec 2020: North American office relocated from Seattle to Houston
Feb 2021 Expanded our management support business. Consulting to domestic and international companies and governments with members from the U.S., U.K., Germany, Thailand, etc. (business evaluation, new business development, etc.)
Dec 2021: Temporarily closed North American office to avoid the risk of the coronavirus pandemic. (Reopening in Aug 2023)
Apr 2022: New Travel Business Department obtains a travel advisor license in Oceania and begins tour business in Hawaii, Tahiti and Fiji.
Oct 2022: Exhibit at the Frankfurt Book Fair for the first time in three years.Our content production themes focus on “nature” and “travel”
Apr 2023: Test tour held in Fiji.
Jun 2023: Test tour held in Hawaii.
Aug 2023: Resuming overseas promotion of travel books “Japan” and “Artful Walking TOKYO AND BEYOND”
